Over half term we worked with South Glos Youth Partnership (SGYP) to run an area wide Ice Skating trip! Places were allocated with a fastest answer wins quiz we hosted here on the website, testing skateboard general knowledge. The two fastest winners got to invite their mates and 20 young people from other youth centres across the area came too!
Skateboarding definitely has some transferable skills as everyone was stoked on how well they did in a very busy ice rink. I saw bs 180 pivots, 360s and some pretty decent powerslides (no idea what the ice skating terms are haha)!
